About the team and services
Will I owe the IRS if I've never filed? +
Depends on your income and withholdings. In most cases no — and many clients actually get retroactive refunds for the years they hadn't filed. In the free consult we review your real case before deciding anything.
What happens if the IRS audits me? +
We walk you through the whole process. We respond together, organize your documents, and if you need formal representation we connect you with an EA or CPA in our network.
Do I need life insurance if I'm young and healthy? +
That's exactly when it makes the most sense: lower premium, broader coverage. Term + IUL combines protection with long-term savings, without overpaying.
Will Obamacare cost me a lot if I have low income? +
Probably not. If you qualify for subsidies (most Latino families in Texas do), your premium can be $0 to $50/month. We calculate it together.
Do I need a driver's license or SSN to insure my car? +
There are insurers that accept consular ID and other forms of identification. Not all — but we have carriers that do work with that documentation.
Does a notary in Texas have the same effect as a notario in my home country? +
Not exactly — the role of a notary public in the US is more limited. For documents going abroad, we can arrange an apostille with the Texas Secretary of State.
